i've been a fan of the beastie boys since i was a kid, but only recently did i listen to their complete discography, which i thoroughly enjoyed. a stellar combination of biting humor and the deffest beats, the beastie boys' music is unique and unlike anything else. though they were typecasted as a frat band in the mid '80s, they quickly proved there was more to them with the release of their fantastic sophomore album paul's boutique, produced by the dust brothers. since then, they have gone down in history as one of the greatest and most influential rap rock groups. their music isn't dated and can be enjoyed by anyone!
